Full-bleed background: steadicam operator mid-shot beside the couple, FPV drone visible if possible — the one image that should say “this is not a typical wedding shoot” at a glance. Most wedding films look the same because most wedding films are shot the same way. We built our entire setup so yours wouldn’t be.
Before We Talk Gear
Nobody plans a wedding thinking about sensor sizes or stabilizer rigs — and you shouldn’t have to. But every piece of equipment on this page exists for one reason: so that when you sit down to watch your film five, fifteen, or fifty years from now, it holds up. Not as “a nice video from our wedding,” but as a film you’d stop scrolling for. Here’s what that actually takes, and why it’s worth understanding before you book anyone.
A steadicam is a full-body harness and stabilizing arm that lets an operator walk, run, or climb stairs while the camera floats — no shake, no bounce, no jolt. It’s the same system used on feature films and high-end commercials. We are the first and only wedding studio in India to bring a complete steadicam setup to weddings as standard, not a rented add-on.
What it means for you: when your father walks you down the aisle, the camera moves with the same steadiness as the moment itself — not the shake of someone half-jogging to keep up. It’s the difference between reliving a memory and rewatching someone’s phone footage.

Steadicam operator in motion Operator walking backward with the full rig visible (harness + arm + camera), bride or groom in soft focus just ahead — shot from the side so the rig itself reads clearly.Image Needed
FPV drone in flight Drone low and close to the action — flying through mandap flowers, over a decor arch, or chasing the baraat — ideally with visible motion blur to sell the speed. A still of the pilot with goggles + controller also works well paired with this.A standard wedding drone hovers a hundred feet up and takes a nice top-down photo. An FPV (First Person View) drone is a different machine entirely — small, fast, and flown manually through goggles, it can dive, swoop, and thread through tight spaces at speed. We fly it through the mandap, alongside the baraat, and straight from the sky into your first look.
What it means for you: the kind of shot your guests gasp at during the screening — not just admire. It’s the one moment in the film that feels like it was made by people who watch films, not just people who film weddings.
Enquire About This ServiceEvery wedding investment above ₹1,50,000 with us is filmed entirely on the Sony FX5 — a full-frame cinema-line camera, not a camcorder or a DSLR with a video mode bolted on. It has a wider dynamic range, meaning it holds detail in bright highlights and deep shadows at once, and a full-frame sensor that performs cleanly in the low light every Indian wedding eventually throws at it.
What it means for you: a dim mandap at 9pm, string lights, a sudden burst of fireworks, harsh midday sun on the lawn — most cameras either blow out the highlights into white or drown the shadows in grainy noise. The FX5 sees both ends at once, the way your own eyes do. No clipped-white sky, no muddy, noisy blacks eating your grandmother’s face in low light.

Color grading in progress Grading suite — monitor showing a wedding frame mid-grade (ideally with a visible before/after split on screen), colorist’s hand on a grading panel or trackball. Signals “craft happens after the camera too.”Straight-from-camera footage is a rough draft — flat, slightly grey, and inconsistent from shot to shot depending on the light it was captured in. Grading is where a collection of clips becomes a film: skin tones made consistent and true across every scene, gold that looks like gold instead of yellow-orange, a single warm, cinematic mood that carries all the way from your haldi morning to your reception night.
Further down this page, you can drag a slider yourself and watch this exact process happen to a single frame — the same process every frame of your film goes through before it reaches you.
